Lot 135.  6 1927 High-Grade Churchman’s Famous Golfers – 2 Large and 4 Small. The Famous Golfers series issued with Churchman’s Cigarettes came in two sizes. Cards for the large series of 12 measure 2 7/16” x 2 1/8”. The small, from a series of 50, are 1 3/8” x 2 5/8”. Large: #5 Herd nm-m, 6 Holderness nm-m. Small: #32 Mitchell nm+, 34 Ray nm+, 35 Ray ex-m+, 40 Tait ex+ to ex-m. These cards are uncommon and desirable.

Lot 137.  39 1900s-50s Newspaper Features on Golf - Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and More! These newspaper pages range in size from 13 ¼” x 15” to 17 ½” x 22 ½”, and have been neatly cut and archived in poly-bags. The sections range from 2-10 pages, unless otherwise noted. The majority come from the The Milwaukee Journal, The Detroit News, The New York Times and The Oregonian. They include articles, photographs, comics and ads.
